Yes. Depending on the ingredients used, white, orange, or greenish marks may appear on the surface of the parts, and this is generally normal. It is not the coating peeling off, but rather pigment or mineral residue left on the surface. For example, citrus fruits may leave cloudy white marks, while carrots or leafy greens may leave orange or greenish stains. Celery may also leave white mineral deposits in the grooves of the auger.
After juicing, please hand wash all parts thoroughly with dish soap and warm water. Rinsing with water only may allow stains to build up more easily. If discoloration remains, wipe the affected area with a kitchen towel lightly moistened with cooking oil, then wash it again. For more stubborn stains or deposits, apply a paste made from white vinegar and baking soda to the affected area, leave it for 2–3 hours, and then clean it with a brush and warm water.
