Health as the Foundation: Nutrition, Habits, and the Power of Juicing
-
What does health mean to you, Lulu?
It may sound like a cliché, but as the saying goes, “Health is the foundation of everything.” To earn a living and to do what I truly want in life, health must come first. If people pay just a little more attention to what they eat, managing their health becomes much easier. It also allows us to learn more about life and even help improve the health of those around us.
-
What are your favorite fruits and vegetables, and why?
I enjoy berries such as cherries and strawberries. They are rich in anthocyanins, which help prevent skin aging and improve skin brightness—especially beneficial for women. For vegetables, I prefer celery and cucumbers. They are low in calories, high in dietary fiber, and pair well with almost any dish.
-
Are there any fruits or vegetables you would recommend people eat regularly?
For vegetables, I recommend cruciferous vegetables such as kale and broccoli, as well as leafy greens. For fruits, I suggest low-sugar options like blueberries and strawberries. Rather than focusing on specific types, it’s important to eat a variety—ideally three types of vegetables and four types of fruits daily—to ensure a balanced intake of vitamins and minerals.
-
What inspired you to become a nutritionist?
To be honest, my family and I used to struggle with weight issues. We tried many diets and went through a lot of trial and error. By chance, I was introduced to nutrition science, and once I understood nutrients and how to eat properly, dieting became much easier. Eventually, my whole family succeeded in losing weight. That experience inspired me to study nutrition more seriously and become a nutrition influencer, so I could help others manage their health.
-
Why are eating habits important?
I like to say that exercise is addition, while diet is subtraction. Exercise requires consistency and discipline, which not everyone can maintain. However, eating is something we do every day, so if we pay more attention to our diet, we can achieve balanced nutrition and better health. Developing healthy eating habits is actually more natural and easier than people think.
-
What else do you do to stay healthy besides diet?
I exercise two to three times a week, mainly playing badminton and swimming. In addition, I follow wellness practices inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, including a balanced, nourishing diet.

How did you first learn about Hurom?
When I was a student, my aunt purchased a Hurom juicer. She’s very trend-conscious but also a bit lazy, and she loved how easy it was to use. She recommended it to my mother, and since then, I’ve been drinking cold-pressed juice with a Hurom juicer for about 10 years.
-
What did you like most after using Hurom?
I’ve used many different brands of juicers and blenders. Some leave too much pulp, which affects the texture. What I love most about Hurom is that it preserves the natural taste and color of fruits and vegetables. I believe that comes from Hurom’s unique technology.
-
From a nutritionist’s perspective, what are the benefits of cold-pressed juice?
I’ve been working as a nutrition influencer for about seven years and have interacted with over 200,000 people. Many people struggle to maintain a healthy diet due to their busy lifestyles. Eating three types of vegetables and four types of fruits every day can be difficult, so cold-pressed juice is a convenient way to get balanced nutrition. That’s its biggest advantage—it helps you consume essential nutrients easily and consistently.
-
Do you use your Hurom juicer for anything other than juice?
Yes, I sometimes use it for cooking. I like pumpkin soup often served as an appetizer at restaurants, so I make it at home using my Hurom juicer. It’s less sweet, lower in calories, and tastes great. I highly recommend trying it.
-
How do you feel about becoming a Hurom ambassador?
It’s something I never imagined when I was studying nutrition. It feels amazing to represent a product that my family and I have used for so long. I’m also grateful that choosing this career has given me such an opportunity, and I’m excited to share a product I truly trust with more people.
-
Lastly, would you recommend Hurom to others?
Vegetables are low in calories but rich in dietary fiber. According to dietary guidelines, an adult should consume 300–500g of vegetables daily, with at least half being dark-colored vegetables. For those who don’t enjoy fruits and vegetables or find them difficult to eat, I highly recommend Hurom. Once you try it, you’ll quickly fall in love with the natural taste of cold-pressed juice.
