  • ① Always assemble parts OFF of the juicer body.

Do not start assembly while the parts are on the juicer body. Our juicers are designed with safety mechanisms that may prevent parts from attaching or detaching correctly while on the base. Please place the chamber on a flat surface first and assemble all internal pieces and the hopper. Once the entire chamber set is fully put together, place it onto the juicer body.

    ② Check gaskets and seals

Ensure that all gaskets and silicone seals are correctly in place. If a gasket is missing or incorrectly fitted, the product may not assemble properly due to misalignment.

This video is the H400 Assembly Guide. You can find detailed assembly guide videos for each model by searching for your product on the 'Care & Use' page. If these steps do not resolve your assembly issue, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries for further guidance.

  • ① Check the Gasket Assembly
Please check that both the juice cap seal and the juice outlet cover gasket are assembled correctly. If these seals are missing or installed incorrectly, juice may leak.

    ② Inspect for Damage
Check that the gaskets are not torn, damaged, or deformed in any way. If any damage is found, please replace the part before use to ensure a proper seal.

③ Secure the Juice Outlet Cover Latch
Please check that the juice outlet cover latch is properly secured and latched closed. If the cover is open or not tightly secured, juice may leak. (Applicable models: H400, H70FT)

  • ① Normal Operating Sound
A gentle, steady “humming” rotation sound is normal when the juicer is powered on. However, to protect the motor and components, please do not run the juicer "dry" (without ingredients) for longer than 7–10 seconds.

    ② Ingredient-Related Noises
It is common to hear various sounds as ingredients are crushed and make contact with the juicer's parts. These are natural byproducts of the extraction process:

    • "Squeaking" sounds: Often occur when processing leafy vegetables like cabbage.
    • "Rattling" or louder crushing sounds: Common with ingredients that have small seeds (like grapes) or firm, fibrous produce (like apples with peel, beets, carrots, and celery).

While these noises are often mistaken for motor issues, they are generally normal. However, if you hear excessively loud, sustained noises—especially without ingredients—or any sharp metallic sounds, please stop use immediately and reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries.

  • ① Natural Characteristics of Slow Squeezing
Hurom juicers operate at a low speed, and it is normal for a small amount of particles to mix into the juice through tiny gaps between parts. The juice may not be perfectly liquid like store-bought beverages. The amount of pulp can also vary depending on the freshness, harvest time, and storage conditions of the ingredients.

② Leave the Juice Cap Open
It is helpful to keep the juice cap open while juicing. If you juice with the cap closed and then release the juice all at once, more particles collected inside the chamber may be discharged into your glass.

③ Check the Juicing Gasket (Seal)
Ensure the juicing gasket (silicone seal) is assembled correctly. If the seal is not properly fitted, the pulp outlet can become blocked, causing pulp to mix into the juice.

    ④ Clean the Pulp Outlet
Thoroughly clean the pulp outlet after each use. If residual pulp is not properly removed and dries up, it can cause pulp to flow into the juice during your next juicing session.

⑤ Choose the Right Strainer (Strainer / pure line)
Please make sure to choose the appropriate strainer for your ingredients. Keep in mind that the holes in the Smoothie Strainer are larger than those in the Fine Strainer, which results in a thicker juice with more noticeable pulp.

If you continue to experience an excessive amount of pulp after checking these steps, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries.

  • Ingredients with hard pits or large seeds—such as mangoes, sweet persimmons, peaches, and cherries—must have their pits removed before juicing. Attempting to juice these with the pits intact can cause significant damage to the juicer’s components.

    ● Do I need to remove apple seeds, too?
Apple seeds contain a substance called amygdalin, which can release chemicals during digestion that may be harmful in large quantities. Therefore, we recommend removing the seeds before juicing whenever possible. While a small amount may not be an issue for healthy individuals, it is safer to remove them if you have a medical condition or specific dietary concerns. As individual health conditions vary, please consult a professional if you have further questions.

  • Hurom juicers use a slow-press squeezing method that gently presses fruits and vegetables, and therefore cannot juice ingredients that are sticky/viscous, hard or with small seeds (e.g., peaches, aronia), live foods (e.g., shrimp, mudfish), ice (including frozen water), or materials intended for grinding grains. For more details on ingredients that cannot be juiced, please see below. (※ If you need to confirm whether a specific ingredient can be juiced, please contact Customer Support.)

    1. Ingredients requiring caution

    • When used alone, soft ingredients such as bananas, very soft kiwis, and tomatoes may pool inside the chamber and make smooth juicing difficult. Please mix them with firmer ingredients.
    • Walnuts, peanuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pine nuts, and beans should be added only in small amounts, or soaked and then mixed with other ingredients.

    2. Ingredients that cannot be juiced

    • Ingredients that do not yield juice: sesame seeds, coffee beans, sansho (Zanthoxylum), tree bark, pine needles, etc.
    • Seafood/living creatures: loach, eel, shrimp, freshwater snails, squid, etc.
    • Fruits preserved in alcohol, honey, or sugar (e.g., grapes, bokbunja, mulberries) and enzyme preparations/extracts (e.g., hamcho [glasswort], wasong [stonecrop], etc.).
    • Ingredients that are difficult to juice due to their properties: gumi (Elaeagnus), aloe, prickly pear, quince, yam, arrowroot, sugarcane, acorns, dandelion, etc.
    • Boiled ingredients such as potatoes and sweet potatoes.
    • Ice made from water; not for grain-grinding use.

    Product : H80ST, H320N, H70ST, H330P, E50ST, E30ST, H400, H70FT, H310A, CP50

  • If your Hurom juicer model includes the Ice Cream Strainer, you can use frozen fruit to make a sorbet- or smoothie-like texture. After assembling the Ice Cream Strainer correctly, operate the juicer and feed the frozen fruit slowly, one piece at a time. The finished mixture will dispense through the pulp outlet.
Please note that models without the Ice Cream Strainer are not suitable for processing frozen fruit. Standard components may vary by model.

    Precautions

    • Use frozen fruit only; do not process frozen vegetables.
    • Cut fruit into cubes of about 2 cm and freeze until firm before use.
    • Remove any hard pits or seeds before freezing and processing.
    • Adding too much at once or using large chunks may cause the unit to stop, so add pieces slowly, one at a time.
    • If needed, allow very hard frozen ingredients to thaw slightly before use.
    • Do not process ice directly.
    • Do not use the juicer for crushing or chopping.

    Product : H80ST, H320N, H70ST, H330P, E50ST, E30ST, CP50

  • Yes. You can use frozen fruit to make a sorbet- or smoothie-like texture. For models with a Mega Hopper, load only about one-third to one-half of the hopper capacity before operating. The finished mixture will dispense through the pulp outlet, not the juice outlet.

    ● Precautions

    * Use frozen fruit only; do not process frozen vegetables.
    * Cut fruit into cubes of about 2 cm and freeze until firm before use.
    * Remove any hard pits or seeds before freezing and processing.
    * Adding too much at once or using large chunks may cause the unit to stop, so add pieces slowly, one at a time.
    * If needed, allow very hard frozen ingredients to thaw slightly before use.
    * Do not process ice directly.
    * Do not use the juicer for crushing or chopping.

    Product : H400, H70FT, H310A

  • The juicer’s motor is designed to operate quietly and normally produces a low, steady humming sound. During juicing, louder noise may occur as ingredients are crushed and pressed. In particular, firmer or more fibrous ingredients such as apples, grapes, beets, carrots, celery, and cabbage may produce more noise than softer ingredients like citrus fruits or tomatoes. This is generally normal during operation.

  • 1. For Dishwasher Safe Models: H80ST, CP50, CE50

The chamber set is dishwasher safe, but please note a few precautions for safe use. As stated in the user manual, please avoid using high temperatures above 85°C in the dishwasher. We recommend using the "Standard" wash cycle. The standard cycle on most household dishwashers operates between 50~65°C, which is perfectly safe to use. However, using heavy-duty or sterilization cycles may cause the parts to deform. Since temperatures and settings vary by dishwasher model, we highly recommend checking your machine's temperature settings before use.
※ Please note: The cleaning brush, pusher, ice cream strainer, and cups are NOT dishwasher safe.

    2. For All Other Models (Non-Dishwasher Safe)

No, the juicer's parts are not dishwasher safe. High temperatures from washing and from the drying process can deform parts, and even low-temperature cycles can cause clouding if exposed for long periods. For safe, thorough cleaning, we recommend using dish soap or baking soda.
※ Please note that the product manual states: Do not wash at temperatures above 80°C and avoid using dishwashers, dryers, or microwaves.

    Product : H80ST, CP50, CE50, H400, E50ST, H70ST, H70FT, H200, H330P, H320N, M100, H26, H25, H310A, H201

  • Yes. Depending on the ingredients used, white, orange, or greenish marks may appear on the surface of the parts, and this is generally normal. It is not the coating peeling off, but rather pigment or mineral residue left on the surface. For example, citrus fruits may leave cloudy white marks, while carrots or leafy greens may leave orange or greenish stains. Celery may also leave white mineral deposits in the grooves of the auger.

After juicing, please hand wash all parts thoroughly with dish soap and warm water. Rinsing with water only may allow stains to build up more easily. If discoloration remains, wipe the affected area with a kitchen towel lightly moistened with cooking oil, then wash it again. For more stubborn stains or deposits, apply a paste made from white vinegar and baking soda to the affected area, leave it for 2–3 hours, and then clean it with a brush and warm water.

These types of discoloration or deposits generally do not affect the performance of the juicer. If the issue remains after cleaning or if you need further assistance, please contact us through Contact us > General inquiries.

  • Ingredients can get stuck inside the chamber after juicing and prevent the auger from detaching. In this case, follow these steps:

    1. First, remove the top section of the Multi-auger from inside the chamber.
    2. Place both thumbs inside the lower end of the Multi-auger and push upward firmly to lift it out.

    Product : H400, H70FT, H310A

  • ① Always separate parts OFF of the juicer body.
The chamber and hopper cannot be separated while on the juicer body due to an "anti-release" safety mechanism. Please lift the entire chamber set OFF of the juicer body first and place it on a flat surface, then separate them by aligning the assembly marks.

② Resetting the alignment (Lock then Unlock)
Attempting to separate them while on the body can cause the internal mechanism to misalign. If they are stuck, place the assembly on a flat surface, turn it back to the [lock closed] direction to seat the parts properly, and then turn it to the [lock open] direction to separate.

③ If parts are "compressed" with ingredients
If ingredients have become lodged inside, making separation difficult, please follow these steps:

    • Run the juicer in "REV" (reverse) for about 5 seconds several times, pausing briefly between cycles.
    • Then, run the juicer in the "ON" (forward) position briefly ONCE.
    • Move the assembly to a flat surface and try again.

When processing large quantities (within 30 mins; 15 mins for the H310A model), rinsing residual pulp out between batches is highly beneficial for both disassembly and overall performance. If separation still fails after several attempts, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries.

    Product : H80ST, H320N, H70ST, H330P, E50ST, E30ST, H400, H70FT, H310A, CP50

  • Ingredients may become lodged inside the chamber after juicing, or the chamber and hopper may have become "compressed," making them hard to separate. Please follow these steps:

    • Run the juicer in "REV" (reverse) for about 5 seconds several times, pausing briefly between cycles.
    • Then, run the juicer in the "ON" (forward) position briefly ONCE.
    • The chamber set should now detach from the juicer body. Place the assembly on a flat surface and try again; separation should be much easier.

When processing large quantities continuously, it is very beneficial to rinse fibers and residual pulp out of the parts between batches to prevent performance issues and ensure easy disassembly. If separation still fails after several attempts, or if any tool other than the pusher was used, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries.

  • Please check if you are pressing the REV (Reverse) button.
The REV button is designed specifically to help release ingredients if they become jammed. For safety and functional reasons, this button is designed not to latch; it will only operate as long as it is being held down manually.

or normal juicing, please press the button to the ON position, which is designed to stay in place and maintain continuous operation. If the ON button fails to stay in place or if you experience any other issues with the switch, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries.

  • ① Please check that the hopper gasket (seal) is assembled correctly. If it is assembled in reverse or not assembled, juice may leak.

② Check that the gasket is not torn or deformed. If any damage is found, please replace it before use.

    Product : H80ST, H320N, H70ST, H330P, E50ST, E30ST, H400, H70FT, H310A, CP50

  • ① When using the product for the first time:
During the juicer's first few uses right after purchase, you may notice a slight burning or plastic-like smell. This is a normal and temporary occurrence as the new motor and internal components settle in. It is not a product defect. The smell will naturally disappear after the juicer has been used a few times.

    ② During extended continuous use:
If you exceed the recommended operating time of 30 minutes (15 minutes for the H310A model) for large, continuous juicing, heat may build up inside the motor and a temporary odor can occur. In that case, stop the juicer immediately and let the motor cool sufficiently (for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour) before using it again.

If the smell persists for an extended period or is exceptionally strong, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries for further assistance.

  • ① If the juicer has stopped after extended use (beyond 25-30 minutes continuously)
The product may temporarily stop to prevent the motor from overheating. The recommended operating time is about 30 minutes (Please note: 15 minutes for the H310A model). If the unit stops, let the motor cool sufficiently (for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour) before powering it up again. For large-volume "Batch" juicing, please be sure to disassemble and rinse the internal parts between runs for smoother operation.

② If the juicer has stopped because ingredients are "jammed"
Fibrous ingredients may have become lodged inside the chamber, causing the motor to "stall" and shut down. In this case, press and hold the Reverse (REV) button for up to 5 seconds, then disassemble and remove any stuck fibers before washing the parts.

③ If the juicer has stopped because an improper tool or object was inserted
If anything other than the dedicated pusher (e.g., spoon, knife, spatula) has entered the juicer, immediately disengage the power switch. Do not forcibly disassemble the parts. Please reach out to us as soon as possible via Contact us > General inquiries to report the incident and receive guidance. Contact us – Hurom

  • If the product does not operate, please check the following:

    ① The Chamber Set Assembly
The juicer will not power up with the juicer body alone. Please fully assemble the chamber set on a flat surface first, then place it onto the juicer body.

    ② The Power Connection
Ensure the power cord is firmly connected to the back of the juicer body as well as the electrical outlet. When you gently wiggle the cord, it should not move. If it is firmly in place, please test another wall socket to rule out an issue with the outlet.

    ③ Assembly Status Check
If the chamber set is not assembled correctly, the built-in safety sensors will not align, and the unit will not power up. Please refer to your juicer manual to ensure all parts are assembled and installed correctly.

    ④ Check the Hopper Lid
If the lid is not fully closed, the safety sensor will not activate. Be sure to press the hopper lid down until you hear a clear “click.” If you find that any part of the hopper or lid is damaged, please reach out to us via Contact us > General inquiries. 연락 요청 – 휴롬

    ⑤ Auger Installation
If the multi-auger inside the chamber is not installed, the juicer may still power up and a “humming” or “whirring” sound may be heard. However, the unit will not function properly—the hopper blade will not rotate, and ingredients will not be crushed.

    ⑥ Overheating Protection
The recommended continuous operating time is 30 minutes (15 minutes for the H310A model). Beyond this limit, the motor may temporarily stop as a safety measure to prevent overheating. If this happens, allow the unit to cool down sufficiently before restarting. For large-volume juicing, we recommend disassembling and rinsing the parts between sessions for smoother operation.

  • ① The Fine Strainer has a tighter mesh than the Coarse Strainer. Use it for hard or fibrous ingredients such as apples, carrots, cabbage, and celery, and it yields comparatively clearer juice than the Coarse Strainer.

② The Coarse Strainer (sometimes called a "Smoothie" Strainer) has larger openings in its steel mesh than the Fine Strainer. The Coarse Strainer is best for softer ingredients like tomatoes, oranges! It's also great if you just prefer more pulp in your juice!

③ The Ice Cream Strainer is used to make slushies or ice cream with frozen fruits such as frozen mango or frozen strawberries. When operating, the output is discharged through the pulp outlet.

  • You may notice molding marks on some parts.

These occur naturally when the raw material is injected into and released from the mold. The same part will show the mark in the same location consistently. They do not affect product quality, safety, or performance, so you can use the product with confidence.

    Common molding marks include:

    ● Flow mark (wavy/fingerprint-like pattern)

Caused by the resin’s flow as it enters the mold cavity. It can appear like waves or fingerprints and is more visible under light. Often seen on the auger or Mega Hopper components.

    ● Weld line (fine line that can look like a scratch)

A thin line formed where two resin flow fronts meet. Common on the auger or Mega Hopper.

    ● Gate mark (small circular mark)

A round mark that appears when the resin is separated from the gate after molding—this is a normal result of the trimming process.

    ● Gas mark / Splay (whitish, hazy appearance)
A phenomenon that can occur from the interaction of heat and raw material during molding, resulting in a white or diffused look.

  • Materials by component are as follows.

    ● Juicer body, hopper, pusher, cleaning brush
Made of ABS, which has excellent impact and mechanical strength and outstanding weather resistance (withstands climate and does not rust). It is commonly used for the inner/outer parts of kitchenware and home appliances.

    ● Chamber
Made of Tritan, an eco-friendly new material that combines the durability of shatter-resistant plastic and does not contain the suspected endocrine disruptor bisphenol-A (BPA), so it is safe to use. It also has high heat resistance, so it does not easily deform with heat, allowing for more confident use.

    ● Auger, strainer
Made of PEI (Ultem), formally polyetherimide—a heat-processable specialty material used in electrical/electronic components and spacecraft/aircraft interior parts. It has excellent heat resistance and strong impact durability, and it is compliant with U.S. FDA food-contact standards.

    ● Rotating brush
Made of POM (polyoxymethylene), a thermoplastic with low moisture absorption and good impact strength at low temperatures. With excellent machinability and dimensional stability, it is widely used for electrical, mechanical, and functional goods.

    ● Juice container / pulp container
Made of SAN, which offers excellent impact, chemical, and heat resistance, and is widely used for kitchen containers and cosmetic containers.

    ● Ice Cream Strainer
Made of PET, which is light yet strong, with excellent heat and chemical resistance and easy recyclability. It is widely used in everyday life for food packaging, fibers, and engineering plastics.

※ Standard components may vary depending on the model.
