Accessibility Information
As of: 07.09.2026
Scope
This information applies to the website and online shop of Hurom Europe GmbH at www.hurom-europe.com. It covers the product information provided there, the ordering process and the member account.
Applicable requirements
Under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) our services must be accessible. The accessibility requirements for services follow from the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3(1) BFSG, and from the associated ordinance (BFSGV); corresponding requirements apply under the national implementing legislation in every Member State to which we deliver. Services are accessible if people with disabilities can find, access and use them in the usual manner, without particular difficulty and in principle without assistance from others. This means in particular that content such as text and images, and the functions of our website, must be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
Description of our services
Our website provides information about our products. You can buy the products directly online: you place the item in the basket and follow the steps shown until the order is complete. Through the member account you can register your product, view your point balance and manage your orders.
How you can use our services accessibly
We want our services to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, so that everyone can use them without restriction. To that end our website has the following features:
- Text can be enlarged up to 200 % without loss of content or function.
- Heading levels are marked up programmatically so that structure and relationships can also be perceived with assistive technologies.
- A skip link at the top of the page leads directly to the main content.
- Every page has a meaningful page title.
- Assistive technologies can identify the language of the website.
- The information required during the ordering process, the total price, the delivery costs and the button that completes the order are clearly identified.
We review our service regularly and whenever significant changes are made. If you nevertheless encounter barriers, please tell us using the contact details below. On request we will provide information in an accessible format.
Products, checkout and payment
Where the responsible economic operators provide us with information on the accessibility of the products we offer, we state that information on the relevant product detail page. The final checkout, as well as payment and authentication methods, is provided technically on the platforms of our service providers; we have only limited influence on how these are designed. If you encounter barriers there, please tell us. We will pass your report on to the provider.
Competent market surveillance authority
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the market surveillance authority of the German Länder for the accessibility of products and services:

Telephone: +49 391 289 230 23 · E-mail: kontakt@mlbf-barrierefrei.de
A contact form for consumers is also available on the MLBF website.
